New DFW meet March!!

Ok well i hope that ya'll had a good meet, i couldnt go :( my g/f was sick and since we live together well.... you can guess... yup i had to take care of her. ok soooo here's the new plan a meet for (SEE BELOW).

We could meet up at the Hooters in Grapevine off 121 & 114 and later hit up the Mainevent down the street.

so this is the way it looks:

MEET:
WHERE - HOOTERS & MAINEVENT
WHEN - THE 19TH
TIME - 4:00PM - TILL YOU GET TIRED

WILL NEED SOME ONES CELL# FOR PPL THAT ARE COMING LATER SO THEY CAN FIND US.

ok that sucks now.....i'm having an open house at my new house on the 12th. i say we have it the weekend after that or the next. why? b/c i would like to actually see who comes to this one. we had the one on the 26th of feb. and three of us showed up. after eating at bone daddy's, which may i add by the way is a NICE environment to eat at; even though i kept on looking at the attractions that was walking by every single second. i couldnt believe i actually ate my dinner. anyways i say in a few weeks we should all meet. oh yeah, when we were leaving 4 tibbys were out in the parking lot, but we couldnt locate the owners. and maybe this time when we meet we should have something or wear something so that we can identify who we are looking for!!!!!

I believe this is in DFW, not Houston,, I would prefer if we could push it back one week also, to the 19th, but if we cant thats fine also... One more thing, If someone knows of a decent hotel in the area let me know. I will be coming from South of Corpus Christi. thanks in advance. P.J.

maybe I will be able to get off for this one I work with a bunch of college kids and its spring break time chances of getting off are slim but I work in the colleyville/grapevine area so I will keep my fingers crossed

Well because of conflicting times with spring break coming up and other activities, i say we plan to have the meet on a Sunday instead of a Saturday. It seems sometimes people have too many things going on on Saturdays. So why dont we do this have the meet at Hooters in Grapevine off 121 & 114 and later hit up the Mainevent down the street, on Sunday the 13th of March and lets make it earlier. one thing it wont be busy on Sundays at either place due to the fact some people will be at church or still asleep or something, but we can all meet at Hooters at 11 then afterwards we can go to MainEvent. Or if the day is nice SpeedZone. What do yall think about that? Plus we would need to come up with some type of a head count, where people are coming from (maybe help them out to find places to stay or something), and how are we going to recognize each other besides looking for a hyundai...(especially if someone shows up late, goes to the restraunt and looks around and cant find who the owner is). So lets have some feedback on this plan. Im not trying to outplay coco; just trying to get it more organized and convienient for everyone.

I personally cant do a Sunday... Its like a 7-8 hour drive for me, especially on the weekends. With work and all Sundays are out for me, unless it is a long weekend (federal holidays).

NOW for the logo ummmm post some ideas or designs that ya would like for them . yea i will be nice enough to make this and mail them to you for free, yes i said it FREE!!! but it looks like it will be the 19th is a good day. oh and str8ballerz if its just you comin up here then u could stay at my apartment that is if you dont mind my g/f and sleepin on the couch, so u dont have to pay for a hotel but if you wanna then ok.... :)

I'm going to try and make it. I live about 5 miles from that Hooters. As far as identifying eachother; I suggest just leaving word with the hostess at Hooters, and she can point whoever comes in to the right table. Also, after we get a headcount, someone can PM the people who are coming with a cell phone number in case they are late, or get lost.

yeah, I am done with design for the t-shirt, so cocoa if there is anyway i can fax or somehow get it to you, the shirts can be worked on. let me know. where in texas do you live? plus for the 19th, i say we meet at 4 at the hooters than afterwards main event. and are we inviting people with tibbys also?
