I am considering applying deadner to my 2002 Elantra GT, but am unsure how many Square Feet are required to complete the Trunk, doors and floor? How much did you use to complete these parts of the Car? Which brand did you prefer? Any information would be appreciated.

7,000 square feet will make the car so heavy it can't move at all! And therefore dead quiet! LOL I used an entire 35 sq ft roll of brown bread insulating my entire trunk and all four doors if that helps. Brown Bread is every bit as good as Dynamat and cheaper to boot. I think Sound Solution in Canada sells the stuff on the internet. I paid 90 bucks for 35 sq ft.

Fatmat can be had for $100 for 100 sq. ft. on ebay. I'll see what comes of the group buy, I might buy a pack that big and sell the rest to a friend.

Of course, you can get some idea of how much you'd need by measuring the length and width of each area you want to cover, multiplying them together, then do the same for the other areas...
