he y'all... just bought a stubby little 3.5 inch alluminum antenna for the Elantra. Unfortunately the adapters they sent are not big enough. Does anyone know the thread size of our stock antenna? The guys I ordered from are trying to help me out but need more info from me.

Thanks for any help!!!

Hyundai USA couldn't even help me... lol... I called dealer and they didn't know... then I called Hyundai and they didn't know... They suggested taking a measurment on my own but it's kinda hard to get an accurate measurement with a piece of measuring tape!!

Anyone who could help would be great...

This antenna was so cheap, looks so good and the company I'm dealing with is so cool about everything that I hate to return it. I ordered this on Sunday and they shipped it on Tuesday, from British Columbia Canada and I got it on Wednesday. couldn't belive how quick it was!! They've been really cool about emailing with me about this thread size too!

go to a hardware store and take the antenna in with you..... when you find a nut that will fit on it, you have your size...

Once you're done, show us some pics! It sounds like it's gonna look really nice.

I got the antenna from www.carccessory.com

I got the I-Series in black aluminum. It looks very nice, in fact it's a shame it's just an antenna because people from a distance will just assume it's a plain old rubber antenna.

Plus the company is pretty quick w/ shipping and helpful via email. If I find a way to make it work I'll post results

plus it's CHEAP! $15
