OK,

Meet is set for April 23rd, a saturday. Starting @ or around 10:30 AM @ TY park in Hollywood Florida.

its right off of Sheridan and I-95 and the weekend admission price is just $ 1.

There is unlimited parking space and lots and lots of room to grill out and just chill or fool around in the park and such... :)

Looks like I have a weekend available in May 2035, I will be 65 then and retired - haha. I guess when you guys get a date together I will see if I can make it. Gotta see/hear/feel that SC that Ford has.

I'm going to be in south FL for a cruise but that won't be until mid july so if the meet is at the same time I'll come I won't have my xd with my I'll prolly be flying down maybe I'll rent 1!

I live in Pensacola cause of school but my family is in Miami, depending on when the meet is i'll make it. I'll have about a 1 week window at the end of this semester. If it falls within that time then I'll be there.

What dates? Throw them out and let's see what response we get, at least it is a starting point.

Ok april 23rd is a saturday. the next saturday after that is april 30th. Who can attend if the meet is on the 23rd? and who can attend on the 30th? Is this going to be a family oriented meet or not. Might be tough for me if I can not at least relieve my wife of one of the hellboys here.

ok, I have set up some things for the meet. Grille and food will be taken care of. I will also have a full set of hand tools, jackstands and floor jack, so if anyone wants to do some work on the car we can.

Its funny, this started off as my idea.... lol

Ford should be able to come on any weekend.

I want to start off @ 10:30 am or so, meet up and greet everyone. Get the grille going about 11 or so..

Hey, I must be chopped liver also. I was at the one in Tampa almost a year ago at Applebee's. Haven't been on here in ages. New car. Its now a Moonlit Blue Tiburon.
The bad news is that some of the guys at Elantraclub are trying to get something for the same day in Tampa/Clearwater area. If only we could work together on planning these things.

Well, might not look good for me now, I checked w/hubby and this is his busy time at work so he is going to have to work some overtime, which means working on some saturdays now. I really don't want to drive down there w/out him. If it was closer it would be so much easier to drive down there after he gets off Saturday.
We definitely need an Orlando meet....that would be so much easier to get to go during the weekend. Yeah, I know 4hours there 4 hours back....no biggie ;-S

I'll be there early in the morning, like around 9 or 10 ... so I can secure our area ... we dont have a covered area but we have shade from trees and our own benches to use plus the parking spots are right across from us that way we can keep an eye on our cars while we do our thing :)

Looks like I won't be making it there. I just finished getting the service done at the dealer on the 'burb and the tires are worse than I thought they were, so I am looking for tires and possibly rims for it. Sorry guys, but family safety has to come first on this one.

That is why I am sorry, you guys are my second family.

I ended up getting lucky, I found a set of used 20" rims and tires with about 5000 miles on them at one of my local Goodyear dealers. They are the manager's setup, and I know him so that is even better. He is throwing in lifetime mount and balancing. Lifetime tire rotation and road hazard warranty on them. Plus he will be aligning the truck after he puts them on.

I will probably catch you guys next week, so you can kick my *** then :) . If not, I will be down there for 2 weeks starting on May 1st.

as far as mods go, we only did 2 slave cylinder mods and sed failed at 1 attempt to install some indiglow HVAC guages. :) ...

other than that, we consumed LOTS of beer, bubba burgers, and nathans hot dogs ... as well as 10 , 2 liter bottles of misc soft drinks... lol

also, in the last pic, we did not get everybody all together, just a few that were there @ the time...

yes, two more members did show up .. we had a total of 6 members , we also had a bunch of our girlfriends there ... two of which also drive hyundais... :)

plus I invited a few of my other friends that showed up also... after the meet was over, we went back to my house and drank for hours :) LOL

played some poker and grilled more food ! !! :)

that is also where we did some mods to some of the cars... ie... we did 2 slave cylinder mods ... :)
