Cherry Hill Elantra "3Day" Meet for April!!

Ok I'm planning a meet (duh) for the month of April.

It will be in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

There are a couple of reasons why I have chosen this location:

It's close to Philly.
It's close to Atco Raceway.
It's close to Garden State Park.
It's close to Cherry Hill Mall.

It will span April 22nd (friday) to April 24th (sunday).

The plan breaks down like this:
Friday Afternoon, meet up at hotel and head over to Atco Raceway for some 1/4th-fun (they open at 4:30)

Friday Night: Retire to the hotel for fun and beers or head to a local hangout for clubbin' and beers, or head to a resturant for talkin' and beers, depends what everyone wants to do.

Saturday Noontime:
Head to the Garden State Park for the car meet. Food is an option. I havent scoped out the location yet and if they don't allow fires we'll find an alternative location. Talk about cars, have fun...if it rains or get boring might as well go bowling! :)

Saturday Afternoon/Night: Depends what everyone wants to do but some thoughts would be to stay at the hotel and have some beers and talk/watch TV, or if it's early enough to drive into Philly and laugh at the ricers :)

Sunday Morning/Noon: Get everything together and head home, or whatever you guys want!

Cherry Hill is perfect for me I work like 10 mins from the mall...but I will be away on my Honeymoon that weekend I won't be back till late Sunday night...Maybe next time.

I'm kinda far away right now & I might be home in time, humm gone for 50 plus days, home for 5 & leave for a weekend in NJ, don't know how the wife will take that, besiase I don't know if I can get my next mod on ? Ilan what's the word on springs ?

I'm considering. I don't know how big I can let this meet get with the accomidations I'm planning out...It's harder to keep everyone together if there's alot of people...know wha I mean? The maryland meet...had like what? 9-10 people? We had alot of fun. Now imagine the maryland meet with like 20 people...think of how hard everything would have been...know what I mean?

is there any update to this meet? I may have my evo fusion spoiler ready for install if the timing is perfect, the place they are shipping it from in ca. has received it today and will be shipping out shortly could take 3-5 days to get to me and then i will immediatly take it in for painting :)

Exit 32 Woodcrest Bowling Lanes

Exit 34 SuperBowl

Exit 36 Laurel Bowl

Exit 36 also has a bunch of places to stay...there is a Red Roof Inn right there and Exit 4 of the Turnpike is about 200 yards from the exit 36 of 295...so you would have bowling, bars and place to stay and easy access to all major roads. All within 1/4 mile.

Yeah Laurel Bowl which is on RT 73(exit 36 I-295/Exit 4 TPK) will take you right into Atco and then 2 turns and you are at the Race Track...I would estimate you could make it to the raceway in 20 mins from there...and if you go the other way on 73 you could be in Center City Philly in 15 mins. So that location is pretty good.

I will look for some parks that you guys can head to.

I wish I could be there but I don't think my Fiance would like me missing the Honeymoon:D

Its about 1/2 mile from the laurel bowl...and about 100-200 yds from the NJ TPK and I-295.

Also I have been looking for some parks for you guys and there are lots around this area but none that I can find that allow an open fire...but you could go to the Pine Barrens its a state park and I would estimate you could be there in 20-25 mins

I will talk to some guys at work this week that live in this area and see if they know of anything closer.
