The offset is a bit big at +46mm. I think most people are running 38 to 42 mm offset...

My personal thoughts are the appearance of the Lancer wheels = suck.
I also agree that the offset may be a bit much.

According to the stamping on the stock 5 1/2" width steel wheel the standard offset is 46mm. The Lancer OZ wheels are technically as close to perfect as you will find (67.1mm hub bore and 46mm positive offset) regarding fitment. This will mean that the extra 1/2" of width will be split exactly between the inside and outside of the wheel. However, if you are looking for a more aggressive stance these won't really do the job (you will need to go to a lower offset to move the outside edge of the wheel closer to the fender). The following site has a wheel offset calculator that shows how different wheel widths/offsets effect proximity to fenders and struts:

I don't believe that the OZ/Enkei Lancer wheels are particularly light so, other than aesthetics, there isn't any real advantage over stock Elantra alloys.
save your money and buy bigger one :)

It doesn't make much sense to buy new 15's when you already have the GT wheels. I'd save up for something bigger, at least 16's, that's my plan anyway.

I agree with Super, go 16" instead of 15". get something lightweight also.

I vote for 16's or 17's too... (and maybe a smaller offset so your car looks all mean!!) but that's just my 2cents

Gotta talk it over with wifey. She really likes the look of my 17s, but I've got 2 tires with busted belts. I'll get back to you.
