alright folks... I know I just got wheels and tires but I'm really thinking about going with something lighter and silver... I'm just considering things at this point and haven't put my new wheels up for sale yet...

But.... if I were to do this I'm hoping you photochoppers might be able to help

Here is a recent pic of my car

here are the wheels I'm considering

here is the best pic I could find of them on a car

go here and in the top right corner under eMail specials they have a program to see the wheels on the car.

yeah, I tried the discount tire photochopper but unfortunately although they sell these wheels they don't have them loaded in that photochopper... :( I know what you mean though.

If you want light weight get centerlines

I had heard about the centerline wheels but everything I've seen out there is chrome...

So far the lightest wheels I've found that I actually like are these Konig Heliums: http://www.konigwheels.com/catalog_product_details.cfm?CategoryID=1&ss_id=137

I'm just wrestling with myself about it because I like my new wheels alot but my but dyno tells me I'm slower... The lightest mesh wheels I can find out there are these enkei RPM2's but they don't come in our bolt pattern
http://www.enkei.com/HPSpecPAGES/rpm2Specs.html

I'm thinking about going w/ 16's to cut down weight... and just going back and forth between looks and performance.

sorry Shadow, I cant remember where I saw this thread, I think it maybe at hp.com, but the light weight rims were discussed before, but the damn search feature never works for me! But one of the companies that I know makes rims that fit the Elantra is Team Dynamics. They are pretty reasonable in price and have a similar style that you are looking for. Here is a small collection of what they sell here http://mmrusa.com/wheels.htm. I have delt with mmrusa before too, not to many products for our cars, but good service.

Check out Motegi wheels ... they have some that are in the 12-14 lb. area and fit our Elantras.

Motegi Wheels at Wheel Max (http://www.wheelmax.com/Wheels/motegi/motegi.htm)

I'm not endorsing Wheel Max since I've never shopped with them but they do have a selection of Motegis.

Or go directly to Motegi Racing. (http://www.motegiracing.com/main.asp)

thanks for the suggestions guys. Man, it is sooo irritating how none of these sites list the weight of the wheel. "sometimes" the manufaturer does but it's hit and miss.... lots more googling and LOTS of work for me!!

yea most definatly! cuz people are just shopping for LOOKS all the time, and not a combination of features. Its sad. Even if you call the companies, over 3/4s of them dont know the weight. only shipping weight, which helps some, but not really
