If there is enough interest, I would be willing to setup a exd fantasy league on yahoo. As a minimum, I would need at least 8 people who will join including myself. Post here if you are interested. As soon as we hit 8, I'll set it up and post the info.

It had been discussed on here before and figured I'd just volunteer to set it up. Looks like we are up to 4. 4 more to start the league. I'd say we will max the league out at no more than 12.

2 more and I will start setting up the league and setting a date to get involved. I want to have the draft finished before opening day, so we have about 2 weeks to get it done.

Let me ask this of you guys that want to get in. Should we go with a 6 person league, see if we can find friends who would like to get in the league, or just forget it? I say we try and find some friends to buld up the league.

Sure, i was going to ask if you guys minded if I tried getting some non-EXD people in on the league. I don't think it really matters who the people are that are playing, just as long as we have people playing.

Couple other things to discuss:live or auto draft and I was figuring on a h2h league. Any opinions out there?

I would say to do an auto-draft. It's too hard to get everyone together to do a live draft. And I have no idea what h2h means.

h2h=head-to-head each week you go against another team in the league. the other option is rotisserie where your ranking is based on season long stats and you get points based on how you compare to others in the league. I like head-to-head cause there is more interaction in the league.

Head to head is a definite must. I'm good with friends to join. Let's get 8-12 people and I think that's enough.

Oh, and autodraft is the best bet.

Looks like we have at least 10 for the league. I will set it up today and post the information later. I plan on using yahoo's defalt settings for the league unless someone thinks there should be something different set.

Nyck - fantasy baseball is a game. Each person(owner) drafts a team of major league players and you use the players stats to figure out who wins each week.

I currently have it set with a max of 14 teams.
Go ahead and sign up and have your team ready to draft by Friday. At that time I will set the league to be drafted so there is about a week for everyone to tweak their team before the start of the season.

5 people signed up so far. Let's get the rest in. And hopefully we can keep an even number of teams in the league because by my count there are 11 who want in. So we need one more to even it out if everyone signs up.

Actually 9 of the 11 have signed up. I didn't have sizzski on the list. I'm thinking roy and super are the ones who I'm figuring haven't signed up. Would like to get at least one of them into the league or if both sign up then find one more to even things out. Friday will be the cutoff to signup for the league and then Saturday I will set the league as ready to draft and have the draft as soon as possible after that.

We are up to 10 teams in the league. Tomorrow is the deadline to get a team registered in the league. Sometime late tomorrow, I will change the status of the league to ready to draft so we should have teams picked by the end of the weekend.

Well, since I didn't change the draft status last night, we got our 12th team to sign up. The league is now set to be drafted. Hoping that it will done this weekend and the wheeling and dealing can start.

By the way, can anyone tell us who the 12th team owner is?
