The Office

Looks like NBC is going to have a show based of the BBC show The Office. I've seen 4-5 episodes from the BBC one and it's pretty damn funny, I'm not sure it'll be as funny with different people who aren't British, we'll see.

Anyone else seen the BBC one?

Yeah I've got the first two seasons in divx and it is a great show on the BBC.
I really don't like rip-offs though, so I probably won't watch the NBC show, at least not in first season anyhow.
I mean, is NBC that desperate for shows that they need to take other shows and morph them into their own?
It is a disgrace.

After watching the first 4 episodes, I'm hooked on it.
Extremely funny! It's Laugh Out Loud comedy, and I love comedy with no laugh track, like also in scrubs its like that. Funny they're both NBC. Coincidence I think NOT MY FRIENDS!

The radio station I listen to had the guy who plays the main character on. He said that the show is not going to be remakes of the BBC one. In fact the guy who started the show and starred in it is an executive producer on the new one. Said that only the pilot was the same script. Just what I heard.

Also, if you get BBCAmerica, they play The Office quite a bit.
