i've spent around $3,550 Cnd on my car...... If I get a turbo that will be another $5,000, and full suspension, $1000 then I'm done.... but if I get just an intake that will be $250 so I will spend around $3,800CND So that's around $147 CND per month since I got the car. WTF That's alot of dough. :(

I used to have an MR-2 Spyder and modding on the Elantra is MUCH cheaper than modding that Spyder!!

Well with this month is only gonna be like $70.00 Next month is gonna be somehting like $400.00, and thats just the sound sytem.

Its hard for me to vote on that because I did all mine in the coarse of about 4-6 months and I spent about 5-6000 on my car in that time. So since i did that all at once my budget would be about $1000 a month?!!

No mods for me other than I put a cd player in mine. I'm leaving it stock as it is more than good enough for me.

If I were to add up the amount of money I've spent on mods only since I bought the car, then it comes out to about $2600/30 months = $86.67/month.

EDIT -- Oops... forgot the brake upgrade... so it's more like $3000 or $100 per month.

After I get the suspension in (last part in the mail) I'll be at about $3250 on the car. I've had the car 31 months, so that's $104.77 a month. Typically though, I spend in the 51-100 catagory in the months that I'm modding. A couple big-ticket items have brought the average up (Rims, suspension, etc).

All my mod money is for my truck. The Elantra is really pretty much done. It's a perfect Daily driver, keeps me entertained and looks good. Now its the trucks turn!

I have had my car for a year + 1 month now. The total amount spent so far has been $549, which is $45.75 a month. I am what you call a seasonal modder....lol, save up some money and then by summer I should be able to add a couple of upgrades again.

i have not done anything to my care in a long time just spending money on other things only things i have is tint side markers and speakers upgrade so depending on how mucjh linger its around ill start putting some major doe into it

My budget was only $3000 over what I wanted to spend last year. The car mods are worth the same price that I paid for the car in 2002. I don't budget per month, rather I budget per year I suppose.....I guess there isn't a category for me either...

$250 CND for an intake? Wow, you should search the forums and find out where to get better deals! Buy an Accord intake and save about $150 cnd.
