Haha, there we go. I was thinking the other day that somebody should make something like that which actually reads data from the OBD-II port. Very cool. :)

ive seen few indash decks that also have this capability. but i think i like this one better. and for the 440.00 that pioneers msrp is, thats not bad at all. and if i read it right, this has sort of a gps/nav feature with it.

Nice... I've seen the ones you stick on your car like a radar detector to measure G forces and 0-60, but that unit's much better.

I am an Pioneer Premier Retailer, and yes, this unit is amazing.

The only thing is, it is not a Head Unit.

It is an expansion moduale for the Touchscreen units we sell.

i'm seriously thinking of buying one of those OBD-II code readers -- I just got my first 'Check Engine' light on my Elantra. Dammit!

I bet it's the gas cap, but still...

I'm going to get one also. I just hope it doesn't take 3 months to get like my Angel Eye's II Headlights!!!

Just purchased that SR ECU scanner a few minutes ago. Let's hope the delivery is in reasonable time...

EDIT: it WAS the frickin' gas cap, but I'm still buying the scanner. :D

http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/ups/razor_wind/mumumani.gif GAH! My first GOTCHA in building my A/V setup! http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/ups/razor_wind/mumumani.gif

I buy the SR ecuscanner and now i realize the Digimoto/Elmscan + laptop package does most of the things the Pioneer box does AND clear error codes for $119!

i am not bulletproof :hammer:

:sigh: At least i can put the SR scanner in the Sonata...
