"I" didnt fix it, but i have had it for about 4-5 days now...has a new OEM clutch in it
working @ getting at rick @ REAL for sending me the wrong parts

So it was the wrong parts??
also, it doesn't matter what the original engine was mated to. You can put an automatic engine into a stick car and vice versa.

oh...it doesnt even come with a transmission!? LOL
that is a joke as far as performance/dollar potential is concerned then...
no room for FI means that you'll need to make it fast NA...
1700 for engine, at least 1,000 for a transmission, 600 for ECU, wiring harness...700 for axles.
so you've spent 4000 dollars and still have another 3,000 to spend (at least) to make it fast...not to mention what you're going to need to spend to get it into the car...yikes.

It says removed from vehicle with automatic transmission. Is there any difference on the way the auto vs manual interfaces with the engine? It would be a waste to drop a V6 into the Elantra & then saddle it with an auto box.

you'll need to buy a flywheel for the engine for sure...not sure what else is different.
so tack on another $400 on top of what I listed.
