Pretty good results from today's racing :) (my RD)

Got the track and it was starting to rain a tiny bit. After the 1st run, which was the best, track started getting very slippery, and I could not floor my car in 1st at all....

So the 1st run was right off the road, drove about 40mi(hot engine bay) and I had 36psi pressure on my front tires.

My mods are 4-2-1 header, motoria exhaust, home made CAI, R-side STS, and about 80lbs of weight reduction.

R/T........................ 0.726 (don't really care about it)
60'......................... 2.332 (horrible! I've had 2.26 before with less mods)
330........................ 6.477
1/8........................ 9.892
MPH....................... 72.57
1000...................... 12.811
1/4........................ 15.305
MPH....................... 90.70

With good traction that I will get on a dry track I can definitely pull 15.1 for sure. I'm also gonna try to wrap my headers and put some stuff on CAI to reflect the heat, and that should bring me to 14s. I also had 1/3 tank of gas, it's extra 25lbs or so.

haha. It takes me 5-7 minutes to unbolt the seats, take the carpet out and put it all in the basement. You should try it man. You car will feel like you just got another CAI.

I'd already gone down the path of removing weight from the car...its just not worth it with as far as I have to drive every day

Awesome run, I wish I could go as fast as a tib like that :)

April 9th I'm going to a dyno day and track run, will be tuning my OBX cam sprocket on the dyno and then running at the track. Gonna try and have the same conditions as I had the last time I was at the track, but this time I'm pulling out the rear seats and the floor on the back. That should save 50-60lbs I'd think. I'm also switching out the 17's for the stock 15's and will see how much faster I can get it. I'm hoping to hit high 15's, and on a prayer 15.6.... Like I said though, on a prayer.
