Terrible news. I'm stuck with my automatic elantra for at least another year. I dont have enough credit on my own. ( i'm only 18) and my parents wont cosign for me. Should i go ahead and modify my automatic or wait and see if i can find a manual in a year? ( it took me forever to find the 03 manual i wanted) i could get another car in a year, but i really want to tune an elantra because so few people do it. Also, what the fastest anyones gotten an elantra to go? i wanna have a good chance if i race someone.

Factory cut off is about 117mph....if you wanna go ahead and mod it...alot of the stuff will just transfer to a 5speed if you get 1 later. just keep all your factory stuff dont sell it to buy mods
