you don't have to take your pictures at high resolution. Change the settings on your camera.

Just resize them using Windows Paint like I do, or sometimes I use Photoshop to resize them if I need a exact pixel height/width.

I hate photobucket I love www.imageshack.us and you can also use www.cardomain.com to host images and they automatically resize them also.

For resizing and cropping I use a free program called Irfanview (http://www.download.com/IrfanView/3000-2192_4-10335353.html?tag=lst-0-1).

It's great for photo viewing and basic editing. It's pretty easy to use... Just open the picture, select the "Image" menu from the top and select "Resize/Resample"... once you're there, just make the changes you need..... and don't forget to save those changes.... If you need help figuring it out, I can help.... just IM or PM me...

Picasa (http://picasa.com/) is another great FREE program. It will organize and display all of the pics on your computer, do editing, etc...

there's another free app called "The Gimp" just google it and download it. Does about everything Photoshop does for free!!! Then you can resize on your own and upload to nitrousworld or any of the other sites listed on this thread.

Wait. PhotoShop costs money? Damn...I hope they don't process my registration on any of the copies I've had for the past 10 years... ;)
