ok so I get to work yesterday morn as usual. One of the cooks looks at me with that look that she wanted to kill me. ?She does the old curling the finger come here things so I think what the hell now???? She procedes to tell me that the new dishwasher who has only been there a week, and as we discovered after we hired him he was aquitted for killing his uncle @ 15. (no big deal after all he was aquitted) had asked her and one of the waitresses for $5 so he can get enough gas money to take some girls downtown so he can trick them out, so he can get enough money to pay the Electric bill.
When she told me I had to go talk to him about this matter (fun, fun, fun).
as I am talking to him I asked him what was said and he said "I asked for money to trick out the girls because I was trying to be honest". OK now at this point I dont think the honesty is the best thing. so after I tell him that was a bad move and not being able to fire him only the owners get that privillage I told him to come in the next day to talk with one of the owners.
he gets in his car and leaves. so a couple hours go by and he returns on a bycycle. quits and leaves...no biggie
then we find a sanitizer bucket (a green bucket used for sanitizing salution so well you should know by now) full of knife holes @ the bottom....
I dont think we could ever top this day even if we hired that kid Corky from the show life goes on......

why do the holes in the bucket have any significant meaning ?
besides that he just wanted to damage the bucket ?
or is it that if the liquid spilled it could hurt someone or something ? ?
I don't get it...

Not only did I get my first Check Engine light with only 2300 miles on the car but i screwed up my chances for my first paying job as a graphic artist; a prof told me about it and to study up on Photoshop, and the project had to be done in ILLUSTRATOR! I was told this 45 minutes in through the 1 hour test period!

Did you file a report with the police? I mean, at the least, that's destruction of company property, right? While you're pointing out the knife holes in the bucket to the police, you might want to throw in the "stabbing the uncle in the neck, aquitted on murder" part. They might also want to be informed of a local pimp/druggie as well. Maybe that'll be enough to get a restraining order on him and trespass him from the property if you're worried. Damn, that sucks you had to talk to this guy, I would've called the owners in to talk to him instead.
I hate to say it, but if he's dumb enough to ask for money from new co-workers so he can pimp out some girls, brings a knife to work and stabs random stuff when he's mad, it might be time to invest in some personal protection just in case.

As if the five bucks is gonna help him become a better pimp. What he needs is a rag top caddy, a cane and a mink coat. You don't want someone who sucks that bad at pimping washing you dishes anyway. He'd obviously do a half assed job.

Not that it should encourage you necessarily, but I've been a graphic designer for 8 years and I only ever had one class in it. Granted, I'm not working on Madison Avenue, but the fact that I have been working the whole time Bush has been President should say something. Point is, you'll find a job.
Ya... 3/4 of my Graphic Arts class in the vo-tech just failed yesterday, because the teacher semi-neglected to inform us the last project he gave us was 50% of our grade. Ya, graphic arts is fun and such (photography, silkscreening, vinyl), but its a ***** sometimes. Although we work almost everything in Illustrator and photoshop here and there sometimes. Sorry for the hijack! :hijacked:
