I wonder how well that works though. My mom's Buick LeSabre has a tire pressure system, and it works like the eBay one where it detects subtle differences in the speed of the wheel and determines whether the pressure is off or not. I don't believe that this eBay one can tell you within one psi. I don't think they're that accurate.

The Nissan ones that are in our vehicles are sometimes 'off'...as in when the temperature outside changes...from very cold to very hot, it sometimes flakes out and gives the computer a false signal...a flat tire signal, so customer comes in and says that tire light is on, when all the tires are all ok..

The 2004 and up models are getting better but we still get the odd ones in.

Neat toy, but I can think of many better mods to do with $300.

If you mount 4 new tires (all the same tires) on 4 rims, and inflate all 4 to proper pressure, there is usually a slight difference in overall diameter. Sometimes they can be up to an inch off. So I don't see how this can work if it just judges wheel speed...
