Ok guys, I finally got a chance to go check everything out down there and it's lookin good!

I was wondering if anyone has room preferences?? It's an exterior-room setup (no hallways, you enter your room from outside the building) And there are 2 floors.

I know how to get to Atco Raceway from the inn and how to get back.

There are alot of resturants such as TGI Fridays, Dennys, there's a Bob Evans next door to the inn...

Bring Your Own Beer I can't stress this enough, I'm not old enough to drink and I don't like to, so I won't have any with me. There is a discount liquer store nearby, so you guys can buy it there if you want.

According to Northern Yankee there's a couple of bowling alleys in the area, one is "laurel bowl" that's just around the corner and there's also "superbowl" a little bit further down. I don't know about you guys but this is a CAR meet, I'd rather go to the further one even if it's just an extra mile.

I couldn't find a park that allowed open fires.
I don't know if you guys want to hold the meet in a parking lot working on cars, or what. But i'll be traveling back down there to find something, something with shade, something with room.

If you guys can, I need you guys to reply to this topic to let me know if you're still going or not, and if you're reserving a room, post the EXACT NAME that you reserved the room in, so I can get the rooms grouped together

I will be releasing my phone number as we get closer to the date, but I don't know all the back roads and the area by heart. if you get lost somewhere that doesn't involve the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 73 or Route 295 please ask a gas station attendant I don't know if I'll be able to help you :(


To Do list is such: for April 22nd - April 24th
Friday between 2 and 4: Meet up at inn and get to know each other, prepare cars for racing and check into rooms.
Friday 4pm: Head to Atco Raceway for some great 1/4th mile fun :)
We'll stay at the raceway until as a group we're ready to head out, and then we can head back to the hotel or go get something to eat, whatever everyone wants to do.
Saturday around noon: Head out to go to the park / area where we will have the meet. bring things to work on! sway bars, spoilers, exhausts, electronics, anything!
Saturday afternoon / evening: bowling, or whatever everyone wants to do!
Saturday night: food food food!
Sunday morning: check out and goodbyes.

April 11th update: We might have one or two people from NewTib at the track...heheheh :)
April 16th update: Losing members, ahh! People c'mon this will be fun :)

Scott, you're gonna take 95 north into Delaware...then you can take 295N/NewJersey Turnpike. Do that, go over the Delaware Memorial Bridge. No toll going that way. Then take the turnpike to exit 4, it'll cost 1.35 in tolls. Then when you get off the ramp you're gonna want to jump across all the lanes into the left turning lane to turn onto the road w/ the inn :) check out google maps. lol

im sure its really not a HARD install, but im sure if you dont take ALL the tools you need, you will be SOL. i would wait till you are home or at your shop or where ever all your tools are

To get there via New Jersey Turnpike:
Take NJT to EXIT 4.
Pay toll, and take Route 73 NORTH.
Get in the left hand turn lane at the light, you will see the hotel on the left!
Make a left and you're there! :)

The hotel will be our main base of operations.
I will be telling the people behind the desk about our meet, and if you note to them when you come to make the room that "I'm here for the car meet" They'll put your room by mine. :)

Bring your own beer, and there is a Discount Liquer store nearby if you want to buy at the meet.

The gas stations are primarily Mobil/Exxon, but I spotted a Shell or two.

Friday night we will be going to the track if it doesn't rain. And it shouldn't. Should rain saturday, but only scattered light rain showers. Track opens at 4:30, check in time at the hotel is 2. I will be at the hotel just around 2.

Saturday day is the meet, we will be installing and stuff, and later that day bowling and going to dinner and whatever the group wants to do.

Sunday check out time is noon, and drive home time :)

I just called the raceway and they said it's $13 to enter on friday to race, I'm suggest bringing just over $20 to the track for food and such

TO GET TO THE TRACK FROM THE HOTEL; Get onto Route 73 S and take it about 15 miles to the Berlin Circle. Continue on 73 S through the circle, the second light after will be route 534, all turns from right lane...you'll see signs for Atco Raceway! Continue on this road for about 5 miles...you'll hit the pine berrans...and then you'll hit the track! :)

To spectate at the track costs $10 per person

But yeah, I'm glad I made you guys go to Philly :) If more people had showed, it would've been a lot more fun, but walking around for a bit and taking a few pictures was perfectly fine for me. Cruising down the highway with 10 elantras in a row would've been cool and possibly very ricey at the same time :) - but all we had was two. :( Oh, and that cheesesteak was pretty damn good too.
