Just a thought. I check the members list, and I just find it cluttered that there are so many members with 0 posts. On top of that it's server optimization :nosthumbs

The best way to handle it would be to move the old inactive accounts with no posts to an archived table on a scheduled basis. Then if/when they try and sign in later their account would be moved back to the active table. This would be an optimization technique to reduce the time spent on lookups involved with the user's table. But, it's probably not much of a problem yet... and there are probably other areas that are more of a bottleneck.
But it still may be worth simply clearing the accounts that are 3 months old and with 0 posts, for example. Those members probably won't be coming back to sign in any time soon and if they do they'll just have to register again.

You should have it setup so they have to introduce themselves, before they can view the whole forum.

I'm not worried about people being inactive. It doesn't seem to take up much space so no big deal.
And, I've never been a fan of the hide part of the forum technique. I love that anyone and everyone can see all the threads without having to be logged in or even signed up.
Thanks for the suggestions though, I always like to hear from you guys/gals.
