The results were good. Kinda a ballzy process though. I don't know about doing it on a FWD car either? Might be better to use a laithe or something rather than the cars' drive wheels.

A great find though. Very interesting.

How about just using a Dremel tool and making your own little buffing pads so you don't have to do all the dangerous stuff?

The results he had were good, but what he did was remove the clearcoat completely so now he will have to keep polishing the metal to keep it shiny.

Please read the directions thoroughly when using wheel, tire, or whitewall cleaner. That stuff can be caustic to clearcoat finishes.

Those cleaners will also etch the metal. I learned the hard way myself. Ruined a really nice set of wheels on my pickup with whitewall cleaner.

Heheh... when you jack up the XD and put it in gear only the right wheel spins. The other kinda tries to spin, but very slowly. That's our open differential doing its thing.
