03 sulev vs 04 sulev

Every time I drive my girlfriends car I notice it is alot quicker then my car her car it is a 03 sulev auto tcs abs, my car is a 04 sulev auto gt with a cai, both cars have cvvt does this make sense ?

The 03 sulev has cvvt? I have the head of a cvvt without the solenoid.

if her car is a 4-door and your's is a 5-door... that's probably it right there..... the 4-door is lighter.

Keep in mind that the transmissions in each of your cars learn different driving habits so the shift patterns are different. Are your tires inflated to the same PSI? MSN Autos and the HyundaiUSA website lists the curb weight as the same on the 4 door and the 5 door but there is probably a difference. The 5 door is most likely heavier.

I have a 4 door, her mother also has a 05 with tcs and abs and she says the 03 is quicker, as for the cvvt it (03) has the solenoid as well as the low end power that a cvvt has
