I have 3" and it works fine for me.

And I have 2.75" on my tiburon, and it works fine as well.

I have the EvoFusion 2.75" CAI. I cut out the section for the MAF, which also has a 2.75" diameter and I replaced all the crap couplers that EvoFusion supplied with Vibrant's 3-ply nylon reinforced couplers and within the next month or so, I'm replacing the cheap filter that was included with a K&N.
I think the 2.75" is the best design due to the piping being equal diamater to both the MAF and the TB. The 1/4 mile time below was with just this CAI installed.

I have the KORE CAI, its alright for my current setup, but I'm thinking of switching to 2.75" in the future.

Mines to damn big and is robbing some low end power. Same mid-upper hp ratings as a smaller CAI. As FF's dyno has shown. Running the same setup he had, the SRI. BUT I get some damn good throttle responce.

2.75" Accord CAI. Bought it from cosmoracing on ebay. Worked perfect for a little over 2 years.

Mine is 3 inches, but the MAF fit perfectly due to it's diameter. I figure that for 2004-5 the MAF is the bottleneck so it's roughly equivalent to 2.75 anyways. I have not dynoed, and don't plan to, but I noticed a substantial power gain after 2500rpm with my 3" CAI :D and the gas mileage on my car went up about 3-4 mpg on the highway!
