Anyone know what kind of CAI this is and where I might aquire one. It looks sweet plus I like the short style.

that's just the stock piping with a honeycomb filter on it.

Also, it's not a CAI as it's not taking in cold air. SRI's are warm/hot air intakes.

That's how my intake is setup right now except I'm using a K&N filter. :)

Did you notice a gain in performance at all???

Compared to stock? Slightly.
The CAI I had on there before gives the most power though.

I would guess that, unless your're moving along at a good speed, you're sucking in mega-hot air from the radiator, A/C condensor and engine itself. Stock intakes are engineered to pull in cool air to begin with. Crap like that doesn't improve anything.

Actually, the stock intake pulls in hot air too. If you look at how it's laid out, the inlet into the resonator points upward pulling in air from the engine bay.
The reason my setup produces more power than stock has more to do with flow than anything. But with a CAI, you get the benefit of better flow and cooler air.

My apologies. I didn't know how the stock intake was laid out (haven't bought my Hyundai yet!) On most of the cars I'm used to working with, the stock intake actually does pull in cool air, pointed down in front of the front wheel. Also wasn't thinking of the benefit of a larger tube diameter offering less restriction. I understand what you're saying, now.
