but then again who wants to shift when.. A. Getting a BJ.. B. Hanging out the window.. or C..not wanting to replace a clutch and other crap!

That article is cool...i didnt know if you have the foot on the brake and you rev it in neutral you get a better grip on the brakes!

I tried it out and it works!

Haha with this car i've done A and B, as far as i'm concerned with C, replacing a ****ed up auto tranny because of WRECKLESS driving (reminds you of anyone? :) ) is faaaaaar more expensive than a full clutch set that got fried because of bad shifting/slipping (250 off ebay? :rolleyes: )

Plus:

-a stick shift looks nicer/sportier than an auto shifter :)
-chicks dig guys who drive stick
-not boring
-can beat the hell out of the exact same car that has a/t
-YOU decide when the car shifts and when it downshifts (god i hate autos, they always downshift for nothing...)
-full exhaust sounds waaaay nicer with standard... everytime i hear an auto car with a big exhaust note, i point and laugh at the guy :D


ALSO:

Let's pretend a thief wants to steal your car... He looks through the window and sees the stick shift... Tells himself ''Dang, I don't know how to drive this car, so I guess I'll steal the other XD next to it that's an auto''.

Basically, stick drivers can drive auto, but auto drivers can't drive stick... We have the hand :)

Oh yea... No offence intended to auto owners here!!! Everyone drives what they like, I'm just giving my reasons!!!

stock clutch is very nice in traffic...my stage three in my tib...that was a little harsh...but still worth every minute of sitting in traffic :bowdown:

good article...but if you didnt know that already.... :confused:
