North Jersey Get-together! (May)

Ok guys, screw planning a big meet, sometimes the small ones are the good ones!

Scott (04GTboyVA) is selling his muffler setup to me because his family finds it too loud. So, he will come up to North jersey one weekend this month and we will do the swap :)
anyone else who wants to come is welcomed! :)
It'll be in my home town, Sparta, NJ. Just off of Route80 Exit 34, Up Route 15 to Sparta.

Probably do the swap and (if my eyelines come in and are painted...) installation of my stuff and whatever you guys want to bring.

THIS WILL BE A BARBAQUE.
Station Park is my town's little park area and they do allow fires.
This will happen on a saturday, either the 14th, 21st, or 28th, and me and spartanelantra will be going to islands raceway on sunday, and whoever else wants to come is welcome!! :)

yeah i was thinking of getting together at island...just because!! Adeihl says that they have special sport compact night....and they usually go down...we can all meet up there...or somewhere in Hackettstown and then head to the track....

keyan....what times does the track open/close on sunday??? how much to race? when are you guys going to be getting there?

At 2.25/2.30 a gallon the truck hasn't gone anwhere in the last month.
Plus if I took it to Jersey I would end up running people over, last time through people drove crazy.

You all know that Saturday is the 28th Sunday is the 29th and Memorial day is Monday - Holiday for me :)

Where is the track? its in great meadows about a 45 min drive... I think

Directions:
Rt 80 west to exit 19. Bottom of ramp make left. Go approximately 6 miles into Hackettstown, make a right onto Rt. 46 West (Main St.) and follow for approx. 7 miles. Entrance to the track will be on the right hand side, just past Cannonball's Go-Go.

Scott, if you want to meet in sparta this is how you get there:

Take 95N Up to 295.
Take the Delaware Memorial Bridge Across into NJ
If you want to be quick about it but don't mind spending $2 more, hop on NJT and take it to exit 10.
Or if you want to save some $$, stay on 295N, take it to Mt Laurel, then hop on 73 and pick up the NJT there and take it north to exit 10.
Once off exit 10, take 287N
Take that to Exit 41B (route80W)
Take route 80W to exit (31?) It's the route 15 SPARTA Exit.
Take route 15N until the Sparta/Franklin Exit
Go to the light, make a right.
Go to next light, make a left
Go down the hill a little and make a right into the parking lot area. you will see us :)


That's if you want to do it in sparta. but it's up to you.

Ok, so the meet is on the 28th but some of you want to meet on the 29th at the track, and I'm game for that, I dunno about you scott, I know you need a place to stay the night, hell I know you don't want to drive 5+hours each way in one day :)

whoo hoo less than a week, keyan depending on directions, im gona stop and pick up a new jersey map at the state line to figure out where the track is, maybe i'll go with you guys to the track and just spectate and take pictures

If no one but me is going to the track, I might not go :(
There will be hamburgers and hotdogs and soda and coleslaw(as per girlfriend) and chips.
Things to do on saturday:
1) Switch scott's exhaust w/ stock one
2) Put scotts exhaust on my car
3) Synthetic oil change for me
4) Organic oil change for scott
5) Drive around with and without scott's strut bar for "testing" purposes :)
6)......??? if anyone else wants to come..!

Scott it'll be me you my girlfriend, charlie, I'll meet you in mt. laurel, drive to sparta, we'll do the swap and oil changes, then all of us will go over to wal-mart to pick out a chrome tip for your car, then we'll all go to dinnar at casa mia, then i guess you can have the pullout couch saturday night and head home sunday morning. Or whatever else if something better comes along
