Trance music in the car = I drive slower but my reaction time's much better

45-minute drive to work/Hell log:

3:00pm- behind a white minivan who's taking curves way faster that it should. Mega-sway.

3:02- I turn left at an intersection and almost get rear-ended by a kid in a Probe. I may not obey speed limits but I don't speed where I can't see!

3:04- Senior citizen bus coming the other way is all over the road - from the shoulder to my side. WTF?

3:22- 2/3 of the way over a 1-way bridge and a SUV coming the other way decides to challenge me. I put it in Park and wait for the goof to back up. He gives me the one-finger salute for my victory.

3:28- stuck behing a dump truck going uphill carrying hot asphalt. I close the vents and stay back.

3:30- a gray Buick pulls out in front of me and slams on the brakes! NO time to brake so I swerve around her on the shoulder. I begin thinking about buying a louder car horn. EDIT: oh yeah, to get in front of me she pulled out in front of a tractor trailer coming the other way. Can't forget that.

3:30-3:45- traffic jam the rest of the way! YAY!

cops seen = zero where'd they all go?

you know, the words and "rear end" and "probe" are usually never in a sentence that has anything to do with a positive outcome . . . no pun intended

Pennsylvania: bad drivers, lousy roads, and ugly license plates

Dude... the new PA plates are SO gay! (no offense to those on board, sorry scotty and others <3)

But ya, butler is like that. I hate this place. Watson has balls to have his car lowered and with a kit on it. As do any other PA members where penndot doesnt fix the potholes. Ever.

I'd just like to say that the plates from New York and Ohio are not that more exciting than that one from PA. If I had time, I'd find examples of each and post them.

It sounds like you were in my neck of the woods (Pittsburgh area)... was it raining, perhaps? I've noticed that most Pennsylvania driver's brains shut off when it rains.

 (The sky is falling; the sky is falling!!!)

I drive around the Allentown/Lansdale/Reading area, and that kind of dopeyness occurs every day. I used to obey the laws more carefully until one day a utility truck ran a red light and T-boned my Cutlass Supreme. Nearly died and I was scared to drive for a few weeks. Now I drive much more aggressively to protect myself.
