Has anyone ever tried to use a tibby rear exhaust section on their XD, and if so, does it work? I know that there are a lot of other things that are interchangable, but is this? :smileyr:

hmm...
from what i've heard it might not fit perfectly due to the charcoal canister location of the XD... it kind of sits in the location of the drivers side muffler...
therefore... its not recommended in addition to the fact that its heavier than stock and wont really create much increase if any performance whatsoever.

Not really after performance as much as looks. But, the fact remains that it can be done, right?

The bigges reason I want to do something like this is that nobody makes anything for our cars. I will have a local muffler shop do it for me, but I like doing things myself you know what I mean? Magnaflow makes some cool mufflers that will look good, but just trying to do it myself. Thanks for the replies!
