Might be a little hard on a DOHC motor sine you can only see the top of the plug when it is installed.
I didn't even click the link, but i bet it talks about indexing the plugs.
mark it with a bright colored marker, you can see it just fine.

Indexing matters more with combustion chambers that do not produce a swirl effect. Putting the gap of the plug towards the intake valves means the spark is directly in front of the incoming fuel.
That guys second recommendation about insulating the fuel lines makes sence unless they are rubber or rubber coated. Once the insulation is headed it will be the same temp as everything else under the hood. With metal lines they are cooler because the fuel is cool.
As far as the coolant thing, the combined freezing point and boiling point of antifreeze and water are lower and higher respectively when mixed 50/50. This is basic chemistry. The only reason I can think of that this would work is that antifreeze dispells heat more slowly than water. But at 40/60 I can't imagine that it would make any difference at all.
