my roomate keeps blaming it on "That darn internet!!!" then he proceeds to tell me how aim went down. I keep telling him... its not the internet its aim. the internet works just fine. he still doesn't believe me.

I use AIM and have not had any problems with it lately. It connects and I get my buddy list. I don't remember the last time I didn't get my buddy list when I signed on. Maybe the problem is with some ISPs connecting to AOL's servers that is the problem.

I have AOL. It has its issues once & a while but I haven't had any problems w/my IMs.
I hope that AOL works well w/comcast. I am getting hooked up w/cable internet Saturday.

haha.
I hate AOL. I will not even use AIM because my hatred for AOL is so passionate. I have many friends and contacts on AIM and it would be nice to have, but I will not break down. Death to AOL and everything they do...

I really have no quams about AOL, my Dad pays for it so I can't complain. I have been on AOL since 95....(whoa that has been a long time) so I don't know any other service provider. I would say when I buy things through kspec and other korean sites I have to use another email b/c AOL thinks its spam
I can tell u that Outlook express email sucks!

OE is only an email client. It sucks as bad as you have it configured. But in generall, OE sucks. Outlook is much better than Outlook Express, IMO. What's your particular problem with OE?

Well, we just recently changed providers. So now I do not get the order confirmations from the website anymore. So I had to change the email to my AOL in order to rec've them. It just sucks having to deal w/2 emails at work.

Trillian has been great for me. I have friends on all of the different chat systems, and I hate having 4 different programs open at once for them....
My biggest beef with AOL is that they don't want to let you leave... and then if you do, they like to keep billing you. I work in customer service for a major bank, and have so many inquiries about AOL that we have their customer service number in out phone listings! A company should not have to trick you into staying with them!!!
