i was thinking . . . i know i know, but listen

what if, we took the stock bumper of the gt xd. marked a line across the middle of the foglights and lower grill. cut it lengthwise into two pieces at that mark.

then, fiberglass a section about 3-4 inches tall to extend the bumper down.
the fiberglass section would extend the lower grill down but not the fog lights. this new extended bumper would then be sanded in place primered and painted of course.

so what we would end up having is the same exact bumper only with a longer lower air dam grill thingy part and more space between the fog lights and the lower end of the bumper.

i dont have photoshop here so i cant do a final chop but here is an MSpaint picture of where the cut would go.

yeah, isnt it nice? i think i read those were x'1? momo's konig's? sorry can't remember. i didnt thank him for the pic slash ask him for it at the same time. sorry if i shouldn't have used it. i just found it today and loved it and was lookin at it so i used the pic here. so what do you guys think? i think the bonding would look fine once it was sanded back down and primed and painted

it would be supported with rods screwed to some sort of bracket or inside lip and mounted to the frame or something like the way truck bed fenders are supported by rods bolted to the frame
