ok i need some help

i got a idea on how to save you guys alot of money

im talkin hundreds

but i do need help

here is what i need to know

1. i need some one to measure from bolt to bolt how far the bolts are apart from each other

in this order:

a.......b

d.......c

so i will need a measurement from "a" to "b" then from "b" to "c" then from "c" to "d" then from "d" to "a"

2. i need to know the voltage your guy's tps is set at

3. does your guy's intake manifold have the idle air chamber at the top of the manifold? i think the 04-05 does so this would apply to you guys

if all goes well guys ill have a $25 60mm throttle body for you....

the idle air chamber on the 04 is on top, not the 01-03.

If you want to open up the tb port bigger than 56-58 mm, you will have to re-locate the stock Idle air control valve.

To do this, you will need to fabricate a 2 port adapter plate for the idle air controller, and then route an air hose from the air intake pipe to the manifold. The stock 01-03 Intake manifold only has 3 vacume ports on it.

You will have to TEE off of one of those ports in order to send the idle air into the manifold...

The best choice is of course the PCV port since its the easiest one to get to.

The other 2 choices are:

1. brake booster vacume hose ( danger, do not F-ck with this hose or your brakes will not work properly).

2. fuel tank pressure control valve vacume port. ( I also do not suggest using this port because of the issue with the fuel vapors and such...).

hence, the PCV breather inlet port on the front of the manifold next to the MAP sensor is by far the best choice for this modification.

And lastly, once you port out the intake manifold enough to invade the original stock idle air bypass port, you will have to fill the gap with either quick-steel or weld it with aluminum...

and of course... you'll have to plug/cap off the original stock idle air valve ports on the manifold..

lastly, you will then need to fabricate a bracket to hold the newly relocated idle air bypass valve... :)

Here is a pic of one of my ported intake manifold and throttle body kits...

Here you can see the pcv port just to the right of the MAP sensor port in the middle of the IM surge tank .. just to the right of the pcv port you can see the 2 idle air bypass ports. .. one comes from the front of the tb opening ,and the other goes into the im ...
