my tires saved my life today!
all hail yokohama's
i was driving on a freeway today, and i started to daydream (not smart going 75 mph). after a few seconds, i notice the guy in front of me hitting his brakes, not thinking, i screech into the lane next to me. i start to fishtail, and start drifting into the oncoming lane (its not a divided freeway) with 5 or 6 cars a hundred feet ahead. i compensate and skid to the right, then begin to even it out and get out of the fishtail.
if this was need for speed underground, that drift would have been a 100,000 pointer. i drove home after work and saw a nice freshly burned skid mark about 150 feet long.
i just got new tires and rims a month ago, and if i was driving the stock ****, i would have been driving on pam.
the people behind me were probably like what a dumb ***.
now i'll drink a vente latte from starbucks before i drive so i don't get lame again.
