Shark Racing ECU (http://www.sharkracing.com/acecart/bin/shop.cgi?action=view&itemID=remappedecu_1&cate=010403000)
Let me know what you guys think. I have been looking to get this done but waiting for the price to go down. It seems like the same thing as power chip.

Personally, I wouldn't buy a remapped ECU from overseas; to really help, it has to be tuned to your modifications (if any), and regardless of what reprogramming they think a CAI or catback exhaust might need on their XD, it won't necessarily work as well on yours. You'd be better off finding a local shop that will remap your existing ECU.
Plus, be aware that several people have reported problems dealing with Shark Racing; do a search of the threads and you'll see what I mean.

Under the driver's side dash. Check this (http://www.elantraclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=5993&hl=) for details on how to get to it.

The ECU is located right above the dead pedal to the left underneath the dash. You might have to be a gymnast to be able to see it, much less get to it to uninstall it.
As far as reprogramming, I'm waiting to hear back from SuperChips about having a HyperProgrammer created for our cars. This would limit the learning function, raise redline by 500 rpm and eliminate the fuel cut off at 111mph (or where ever yours stops at, basically, NO LIMIT).
I contacted them about two weeks ago, and have sent a follow-up e-mail just two days ago. I'll let you all know what I find out...

A programmer for our cars would definitely be an excellent thing to have. Keep us updated.
