Hi, yesterday I posted the thread about choosing black rims and many of you helped me out
Fortunately, I was able to call them up around 11 pm and place an order for a great deal (or so I thought)
I bought Rev Model II Black rims (package 2)
http://www.gotwheelsandtires.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=659
And for the price of $839, I was to get free shipping, free lug nuts and bolts
, and the wheels mounted on Wynstar All-season tires (no brand but Z-rated tires)
However, today, the saleslady called me up and said unfortunately, they only have two Rev Model II wheels (she said she has all four yesterday)
So instead she suggested I get different ones...
The closest one I could find to the Rev model was ADR SZ1 (package 2)
http://www.gotwheelsandtires.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=1083
And this time, she said she definitely has all four as she was looking at them
Now, I really liked the Rev Models because of its smooth curvatured spokes
I believe that Elantras are organic-looking vehicles so smooth spoke patterns will fit better than the hard-rigged ones
I mean, the manager did apologize and said he would reduce the price to 809 (about 30 dollars cheaper)
Should I still order them?
I know it was a mistake on their part and all human beings make one... but I am still very pissed off and at the same time, confused.
I do not wanna make a haste decision since $800 is a lot of money
I mean I am sure I can find the ones I want on different sites, but the deal is way too good to pass up on...
So all you experts out there, please help me out
I told her that I will call her back tomorrow...
What should I do???
P.S. - Another possibility is getting the Rev Model II's in 18" for extra 200 dollars which i can afford but I am scared it won't fit or i will lose too much traction...

The 18's will be too heavy and being just regular cast rims, it'll have a higher possibility of getting bent when you hit a pothole. Your ride will be very harsh too. The only thing you'll get out of 18's would be the look, but performance is going to suck big time.
If I were you, don't settle for the model they are offering. Never settle for 2nd best. You had your mind set on the first rims and if you have the money for it that's what you should get. A few months down the line you'll wish you had gotten something different. It sounds almost like a bait and switch if you could order it last night but now all of a sudden she only has 1 pair. At least they had the decency to call you up and not actually ship out the wrong rims to you, but I would be weary of a company like this.
The rims you want are a generic copy of the Volk Racing CE28N rims so I'm sure there are many other places with the same style rim at a similiar price. Good luck man, let us know if you have any other questions.

A heavier wheel will be stronger.... and will have less of a chance getting bent.... My experiance is 18's and 17's ride the same.. tire pressure change in the 18's may help a lil....
If you want the wheels get them.. dont settle for something you didnt want.. 30 bucks.. that isnt much of a deal really.... 75.. 80 I would then
Give them a chance to help you... mention your going to try to find another site to find the ones you want... if it doesnt work.... well at least you try to get them to work with you

Not True...a heavier wheel is not necessarily stronger....
Performace will suck though.....The heavier the wheel the more torque needed to move/spin it, and the fact that the weight is further from center(roughly 7 inches from center compared to 6 or 5) only increases this effect.
and with 18's on a car meant to use 15's your ride will be harsh, because of the engineering of the vehicle suspension and the fact that you have very little rubber to take some of the impact from bumps and potholes....
Get something that has a bit of a sidewall on it...the largest wheel/tire combo I would personally get is 17's if and only if I really liked the design and weight of the wheel
I'm looking for 16's right now...hopefully the lighter the wheel the better. to free up some of the horsepower/torque used to spin the stock(heavy) wheels.

My Centerlines came in today. They are the 15" ones though. I've had 17's on my last 2 cars and the wheels were heavy and tires are quite a bit more. I took one out of the box and weighed it and it's 12 1/2 pounds. I like the looks of the 17's but felt staying stock size was more practical and my billfold is happier.

What about ADR Sokudo 8 or 10? I have the ADR Sokudo 8 (see my avatar) and I love the appearance. They have them in "gun black".

I've managed to ding up the outer bead of the rims a bit 'cause I'm running 205/40R17 tires, but they're holding up and not leaking air or wobbling.
You can usually find them pretty cheaply...

If your looking for some nice gunmetal or dark rims shop at wheelmax.com. They have a great selection of darker colored rims. I got the DR-3's in gunmetal a week ago and love them.(17's)

Yeah I finally ordered a set of rims
I got the 17" ADR SZ1's with Wynstar All-season tires for $809 (shipped)
http://www.gotwheelsandtires.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1083&osCsid=de4410c0858554713c4e7d4c28459047
As much as I liked the Rev Model II, I saw some cars with these SZ1's and they look pretty ill
So yeah, this time they definitely had the rims and already shipped it, mounted on tires
I even got the tracking number
Nevertheless, thanks to all of you who responded to my unfortunate situation so quickly
I will post pics once i get them installed on my car... with my 20% tints, im hoping they would look good
Now I just have to get new rotors (that's not rusted) and color my calipers
Any suggestions?

I can't help you with rotors, but with a black dark-tinted car and black glossy rims w/ polished lip, I'm thinking painting your calipers a glossy black (like, with lots of layers of clearcoat) would look awesome. Tough to keep looking good unless you clean it a lot, though. Brake dust is killer.
The good part is any color would work. The bad part is color would distract from the clean black look, in my opinion. Post a photo of your car once you get the rims on.

post some pics when you get them on. Cannot wait to see what the car will look like.
Good luck
