Cold air intake for a '05 MT

Hi,
Newbie here (to this forum but not others) I bought a new Elantra GLS with Manual trans. I want to Mod the intake but want to know which unit is best to install. After reading numerous posts a few things are unclear. I see that a lot of perope are using the 94-97 2.5" Accord cai, will this work on an '05 with MT? A lot of the CAI's on eBay list for Elantra with Auto only. I am not worried about having to frabricate a piece to fit but I would like not to have to jerk around with the MAF too much. I was also thinking about using the stock airbox with stock type K&N flat type filter and only upgrading the tubes going to the MAF and then to the Throttle body. Anyone done this or have any suggestions

yes this will work, just make sure to get a 2.75" and buy two more blue or whatever color couplers. The MAF is 2.75" so, just couple it to the pipe that you will have to cut and everyones happy ;)

Thanks SED I will give it a try and posts results and pictures for othersthat might be interested.
Also does anyone know a good performance muffler that is good for an '05?
I don't want something really loud though....
