does putting in a CAI void the warrenty I have a 2005 elantra its got that 60k bumper to bumper and 100k warrenty too does it void those?

yea you need to search instead of askin. its a ***** to find exactly what you want, but for this topic theres tons of stuff out there. and yea it pretty much does void the warranty.

Yeah, search, but to answer more simply, you're looking at voiding your drivetrain warranties, but as for bumper to bumper, if your push in/out ashtray track breaks, the CAI is obviously not going to void that warranty... unless you've got a tube going from your ashtray to the CAI in order to automatically clean out the ashtray of any ashes... then we might be looking at a warranty violation.

Looks like everyone else should search again too. The only way a CAI can void your warranty is if it is the specific reason for the problem you are experiencing. If you want to know why, read here http://www.granatellimotorsports.com/magnusonmoss.htm.

I answered what a Cold Air Intake voids in the warranty and even posted a warranty link directly from Hyundai like 5 days ago. I am not doing it again for someone that doesn't know how to use the search button
