I ordered the Genius Grill ('03 GLS) .......and I did actually notice in the pic on the EvoFusion site that the fit between the lip of the hood...and the top of that grill looks like it has a few uneven gaps in it. Is that what anyone here has seen? or does if fit snug and even?

I think I see what you're talking about -- where the black grille frame meets the front of the hood, the lip of the gold hood edge looks like it shows through about 4" from either corner in the seam. I wonder if that was a photochop image.

Overall, I think you'd be better off getting a GLS grille from a salvage yard, trimming out the vanes, putting in mesh and painting it black yourself. NOt to knock your taste, but IMO that grille looks kind of like a cheap "Made In China" OEM substitute that a place like JC Whitney would sell...

From that picture, I'm guessing they did not tighten down the nuts/bolts that hold the grill on the car. It looks like it might have just been slipped into place for the picture. OR the OEM grill has a little rubber strip that goes between the grill and hood. That is apparently not installled in the pictue SuperGLS posted.

I see what you're sayin man.... I was thinkin' it may have been that gloss black look to it that makes it look home made.......and I was gonna do the lip in a flat black...and then some kind of badge on the bottom right corner. I fit does suck.......look for me to be selling a cheap grill here soon :D

Mine fit just fine, they dont send you anything to mount it so i had to go buy some nuts and bolt. but be ready to wait like a month and a half. But i like mine

I wanted that EvoFusion Grill too, but I thought it's too expensive.

you're right........it is too expensive. by about $40 if you ask me.... the thing is....I have an '03 that I bought new.......and 2 years later.....after coming here from time to time and readin up on all this stuff......and always wanting to mod the car........I've reached the time where if I don't do it now......I never will........so I'm doing EVERYTHING in the next few months.

I figure most of this stuff won't even be available soon......so now is the time.

Maybe if you painted the grille to match the body it would improve the appearance.
