04-05 carbon hood

I am going to get this rolling through flyryde. They are real good about getting what we the hyundai community wants. I need input from you guys about what style hood you want (o.e.m., evo, ect). I dont have any prices yet. I dont expect them to be to over the top either they are real good about that as well. Also i need to get a rough number of how many the first run of these we will need. I will get you guys the info as soon as i get it. i will push them as hard as you push me to get this done. Im sure I can put a word in on the 01-03 hood as well. Any input is appreciated.

i would like a evo hood or a o.e.m one for a 03. and i will say chris is good about helping out the hyundai community

Here is my suggestion.

Get 10 people that want a simple OEM style hood and that will have the money ready in a week or two. Then have them made and shipped out.

If you ask about styles, vents, etc, you are just going to end up with a bunch of people giving their opinion but not ready to actually spend the money. The OEM style will ALWAYS sell more, no matter what anyone says, this is what I'm saying from experience.

as always it will depend on cost.

I would get a prebuy man, get ppl that are truly interested to give the company 50 - 100 bucks for R&D and casting costs. Of course, credited towards the purchase of the hood.

This will be the best way for everyone. The company making them has a direct figure of the least amount they are making and the people who really want them know that they are being made.

There have been so many threads on who likes what for a hood, personally I like carbon fibre as it is, though the EVO style is what gets me. I also like this design (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/503974) , its my buddy Brians Mazda MP5-T, its near the bottom of the page. Simple and nice. I would settle for an OEM style for my 02 hatch

Ummm you XD guys can get CF Hoods already (OEM and extractor (sp?))....

Id be up for a CF hood... but I would rather have it non-OEM... I would like to have a OEM trunk! ... an CF roof would be cool also! :)

ok folks update i just got a price on the hood it will be 400 for oem 500 for evo, but we at exd get a 25% discount on that price. all we need is three fro o.e.m and three for evo. now we will have to pay in full to get this done but i am going to pay in full for an evo. so we need two more on the evo and 3 for oem.



for other style hoods he said around 499-550. these will get a 20% at exd. we dont need to limit this just to evo or o.e.m. . i need pics of scoops you like and hood styles as well. we can have this done in as little of two weeks. lets get those pics folks.
