I traded my 04 Elantra GT sedan in for a Alpine White 2005 Tiburon GTV6 with a 5-speed manual. It's fun cause its my first manual, and I have doen well shifting fairly smooth. As for new mods I dont even know where to begin I think a CAI is due just so I get better gas mileage. Just thought I would share. Kinda cool cause I have wanted this car since 03'.

You'll never want to drive an automatic again, unless you live in Frisco or sit in traffic for most of your commute.

One last question just like motors do clutches need to be "broken in" what kind of life expectancy should I get about 60,000 miles??? Thanks

well.. if you're not pushing the engine hard during break-in.... you will be taking it fairly easy on the clutch too....
as for life expectancy.... all depends on how you drive and where you drive.... If you're doing alot of stop and go, racing a little, etc... obviously it's not gonna last as long.... on the other end, if you're driving on the highway and not working it real hard, it will last quite a while... I had 115k and counting on my stock XD clutch....

from what i know, starting with the model year 05, tibs come with 6 speed only on the top trim, SE. GT trim has the v6 but matched to 5 spd tranny and GS trim comes with betaII engine i believe. i could be wrong though. :P
EDIT: o btw, congrats on the buy. i'm sure you'll like it. :D :D

Yeah the white color is kinda rare, when I sold Hyundia'd back in Chicago I only had one come in for the entire year I was there, it looks sweet.
