anybody else tried this stuff yet??????

a few weeks ago I was extolling the virtues of Mothers Wax....specifically "Mothers California Liquid",,,which I have found to be the BEST product of it's kind...at any price.

That changed last week........ if you have never heard of this stuff...... you need to. It's also a Mothers product........but the difference I saw was bigtime obvious. A much deeper...cleaner shine. My XD looks wet it's so shiny.

I washed the car. Then I used Reflections Car wax.......then on top of the wax I applied Reflections Top Coat Holy crap what a difference.

I dunno if it's just my paint (midnight Grey) or not.......but I'm fairly sure it's gonna look as good on whatever color your XD is.

Maybe I'll give it a shot. I'm a big fan of 3M stuff, but supplies are getting low and I was thinking about waxing both the Elantra and Santa Fe this weekend. I had not heard of it before, but honestly I don't keep up much on wax. I buy my 3M stuff and that's it. Although my dad did give me some Meguires NXT wax that I haven't tried.

EDIT: After some exhausting research on the internet, I've read that my 3M solutions are in the top 5, but not the best. Zaino seems to be the best with Klasse in close contention. Klasse is supposed to be easier to use. I may try either of these products. We'll see which is available, and at what cost when I go to the store tonight.

From what I remember NXT and meguires rate somewhere below 3M. They are good for shine and color, but lacking on durability and life.

Zaino info is here: http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

Again, I haven't used this stuff yet. Just what I read so far. I'm sure you can find a good and bad opinion of everything on www.autopia.org.

Just thought I'd add that I went looking for Klasse AIO (all in one) polish and Klasse high-gloss sealant. Couldn't find it, will have to order online.

I did look at the mothers' reflections stuff. It looks like Mother's mass-market answer to Meguires Gold Class. I'm sure it's good stuff, but I'm gonna search out my Klasse products and give them a shot. If I don't like what they do to the SF, I'll stick with 2M on the Elantra.

I just ordered the Klasse Concours kit from www.properautocare.com. It comes with the 16.9oz bottle of AIO (all in one) polish, 16.9 oz of high-gloss glaze sealant (takes place of wax), 2 MF applicators, and 2 MF cloths. Total cost with shipping = $52.95.

Now all I need is a new claybar and I'm ready to go (oh, and to refill the beer fridge too).
