Where is the best place to but headlight bulbs for my 2002 GLS (H7s)?

Take it back to the dealer for the free ones. Ya don't get no cheaper.

H/L bulbs are covered 5/60.

Are you sure about this? Cause I tried doing that once and they were quick to charge me for the bulb and also wanting a "labor" charge :conf:

Absolutely. Unless they can prove that you don't have the factory bulbs in it then they are covered for 5 years or 60k miles, whichever comes first. That's the reason I gave up on "blue" bulbs that lasted 8 months and didn't have as much light. I figured screw it, let them pay for it.

No. I just read on Hyundaiusa: Bulbs are considered "Wear Items" and are specifically mentioned under the 1 year, 12,000 mile warrenty.

Wear Items; 1 year / 12,000 miles ( e.g. belts, brake pads & linings, clutch linings, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, fuses)

Correct, sorta. Brake bulbs, turn signals and interior bulbs are 12/12.

Head light bulbs are another story. Went throgh this at the stealership. KIA warranties h/l just like the other bulbs 12/12 even though they have the same problem with the H7's that we do. But the Hyundai covered for 5/60.

I betcha that it depends on the stealership you go to. I doubt all of them take note of the *headlight clause* that you mentioned. Good to know though, even though they don't bother to print that anywhere... bastards.

I got the same response from my dealer. It was never worth it waiting all that time to see their service reps just for a simple light bulb. If they just handed me a bulb it would have saved me quite a bit of money after all these years.
