well first u will all flame me, i'm a moron i put prolong in my engine only after i babied it for 600 miles

my father told me it shouldnt harm it..then mad people say i'm ****ed lol

either way i dont see it affecting anything my MPG has dropped maybe one mile per gallon..i think once it burns out i should be ok, after adding synthetics etc..i wont use the booster bottles thats for sure.

err anyway what are yall's thoughts? will a engine replacement be needed soon lol??

I seriously doubt it. I've actually used Prolong before, but not in my Elantra. I used it on a GM engine with many miles on it. It seemed to help a little, but not enough to worry about using it.

IMHO, I don't think oil additives are neccessary. Just use a good quality motor oil and filter, and keep up with your oil and air filter changes.
