Thanks.Yea it works good so far...no noises or whatnot.I dont really plan on wearing it out soon,so hopefully it will last awhile

usually, i would think this is ricey, but after installing a ****load of dynamat, and being able to see most of it w/ the trunk lid up, i may have to consider this, just to make it not so noticeable.

does it hold itself up or are you just resting it on the can?

ah i see now.. find this on the walmart site for us please... after i get my trunklid/rear bumper replaced im going todo this so I can fold it up and show off my 2 subs :D

All you need is 2 3 inch strap hinges,they come 2 in a pack at the hardware store.Also you need 2 2-1/2 barrel bolts.You will need 2 people to do this.Remove trunk lid and place hinge on top of trunk spring,and install.Repeat on both springs.Line up trunk with factory bottom bolt.Install hinge on to trunk lid.Then install barrel bolt on trunk lid and drill hole into trunk spring for bolt to slide in,and thats it.Sorry if it seems kinda vague but I will try to find something for you to go by.

You are lost kewlat. The reason someone mentioned dynamat is because they want the do the flip-flop trunk so that people won't see their dynamat.

ok questions...... will this make more rattle with subs in trunk? no yes maybe???? im going to dynamat someday and do this mod (once i find out how todo it DIY i hope lol)

ive got the instructions but cant figure out how to upload the complete instructions into a diy thread,its got pics and stuff in it.once i figure that out i will be more than happy to do it,until then if you want to know how to install this my email is in one of my replies and i will send it to you
