Hello,
I was just curious where you get items such as the tubing in this picture below(the braided hose):

Or where a good place to get that. Do they replace the tubing, or is it something that goes around it? Thanks!

I've seen stuff at auto zone that u just put the slide over an existing hose and it looks just like that.. I don't know if it would look as nice.. but it's braided and comes in a couple diff. colors

I'm assuming that you're talking about stainless steel coolent hose lines? they are flexable and are a direct tougher replacement for the rubber hoses, you can find them on Jegs (http://www.jegs.com). They also sell a lot of other dress up/mod stuff (like steel braided vacuum, brake and oil lines) so thats a good place to start.

Yeah... I've seen that stuff at AutoZone or Pep Boys also. It's about $50 and has a variety of hoses in the kit which I believ can be trimmed and then slide over the existing hoses. It includes either red or blue connectors for either end.

Just like every one said, you can get em from Auto Zone/Pep Boys/Checker Auto.
Or you can always ask a car performance shop for em.

With covers you just cover up the existing rubber hoses and it makes it look nice but you won't be able to tell if they are worn. Steel braided hose lines (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=2701&prmenbr=361) are much tougher and last a lot longer as they are bonded to the rubber hose on the inside and out. They look exactly like the ones pictured and come with a variety of fittings, sizes, lengths and colors as well as having the advantage of not being pre-formed so you can snake your hose any way you would like for custom jobs. Most of the ones I have seen are for coolent brake and oil lines but they also make some for vacuum lines (overkill I say).
