Yes I know
:worthless
But anyway, I put some Konig 18" rims on last night. I got them on 225/40/18 tires. I barely rub just a lil on the rear fender so I might have to try to roll the fender or sumthin or maybe eventually put some 215's on them..But they look great. I'll try to take pics tonight...

What the hell? You're treading dangerous ground posting about new wheels when you don't have pics yet! :)
what are you doing with your 17's now?

Wow!!! 18" rims with 40 series tires... watch out for potholes and curbs! I've beat the hell out of my 17" rims with 205/70R17 tires on them, and the 18" rims will probably be even heavier and more prone to damage.
I agree with Steve -- where are the pics?

Like I said, I'll try to take some pics tonight. I had 45 tires on my 17's. Let me tell you that the 40's aren't too thin thank God.
As for my old one's, I traded them for the 18's. Sorry Shawn..
They definately fill my wheel well in very nice. My car didn't look too low b4 with the Eibach's but now it looks almost dropped. Good thing I didn't get lower springs...

I have 205/55R16 which is +.67 inches from stock. Your 18"s are 225/40R18 and that's +.87 inches over stock size.
I cut my fender lips. Got rid of about half the lip, went right up to the pinch welds. I still rub at highway speeds on dips and there's never anyone in the backseat. I also rub on the occassional pothole at 30mph while turning.
I might not rub if I change the rear camber but I'll probably sell these rims soon anyway. Is your camber still set stock?
I also have stock springs so maybe my rear bounces a bit more than yours.

dont worry about the 40 profile, I am running 35s and I have never had troubles. The ride get kinda harsh on dirt roads but thats about it.

Everybody and their brother has 19's at the local shows I've been to. I don't think it's foolish if your'e into show and no go. Just my opinion.

I think it's fine to spend the money on 19s if all your driving is from the parking lot, into the trailer, and from the trailer onto the next parking lot. The clearance issues on our cars with 19s make it not only 'unideal' to put rims that big on the car, but also dangerous (due to the sidewall height of the rubber, or lack thereof).

LoL, Cuz I need Shawn to finish the wiring for me...
As for the calipers, I never really painted them cuz my 17's kind hid them, but now that they show so much I will be doing it.
BTW the red rings can be changed to silver, Orange, Green, etc... I got them, at home and just put red for now...
hows the ride??? don't see why people go 18 over 17.... lose so much ride

Actually it rides great. I love my Eibach's.... BTW, I got a flat today lol...but that tire was already bad when I bought the rims. I mean, all 4 tires are almost brand new, maybe less than 1,000 miles on em. But whne I mounted the rims, that one was flat so Now I spent $94.00 on a new tire and just got to work now 2 hrs late... What a way to start the weekend...
Sp now I have to wait another paycheck to get my high spoiler painted at the dealer...

Thanks, yeah Definatelt need new brakes. What rotors, Calipers u guys suggest?? Price???
I'm also thinking of taking off those red rings. Might look kinda ricey. Maybe I'll paint them silver or chromish lol or just take em off. Plus I still gotta get the center caps..
Anyway, let me know what kind of brake kits and input on whether I should leave those red rings cuz they just snap off anyway...

You could do the Sonota rotors with the Tiburon calipers like Ford did. You can also look on Ebay for some cross drilled or slotted or both rotors.
