Ok, so I dropped my spoiler at the bodyshop and they said that black was impossible to "color-match". I even called hyundai dealerships and they said the same.
I didn't pick the spoiler up yet, so I don't know what to expect:
to anyone who has a black car with an added spoiler (vsolo?), please tell me that the difference between a 3 yo black paint and a new one isn't that big!
Thanks.

Why is it impossible to Match? I can drive 2 miles down the road to Bond Auto Supply (Local Auto Store) and they can take this nifty camera and take a pic of the paint and there computer will mix the exact color.

Apparently any color except black can be matched....?

I think they mean that they can match the original color of the paint, but cannot gaurantee that the new spoiler will be the same color as the car because black paint fades so quickly (compared to other colors). So your car may not be as brillinat of a black as the spoiler.
...or maybe I'm way-off, I dunno

Oh, God. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Although from my one and only experience with this company, I found them to be very unreliable. I would never order from them again. And I would encourage anyone else to stay far far away.

A message to those who haven't been around the Hyundai 'scene' very long:
Please don't ever, ever, ever, ever buy from HDK autosport. Do searches in the archives if you want 13432565662 examples of why.

I had 3 parts painted to match on my black Dodge Ram when it was like 2 years old. Do not take it to them if they say they can't match it. Then I heard the same thing about red, but the dealer painted mine to match perfectly. Oh, and in case it has not been mentioned yet - NEVER BUY FROM HDK.

when I had my spoiler & kit painted they just used the OEM paint codes and yes the paint looks "newer"... I mean it is new paint... but it dosen't look like a different color or stand out to the eye. I wouldn't worry about it too much as long as they use the OEM paint code!!

Just have them painted the hyundai Black and have your car detailed.
or buy the paint yourself

Yep, I think I have to get the car detailed, it is full of unknown gunk i can't get out, and I can still see the badging even though it's not there :P Maybe I'll tell them to compound my hatch.

Alright, got the spoiler in today from the dealership (friend works there so I got away with a good price, plus i'm a little ***** when it comes to bodywork, as mentionned before).
Sons of *****es forgot to put the spacers in, I will kill someone. They have never heard of it before and keep telling me they have never put any on an elantra. The wiper doesn't touch, but comes REAL close. I'm afraid that during winter it will start scratching the spoiler because of the ice.
Anyhow, I will print out the diagram and show them so i can get my spacers for free :)
