Just got it this Sat. It's a hard top 2000 Camaro z28, 6 speed, 38k mi, 5.7l LS1, 305hp, 335tq, 3440lbs. It's loaded with every possible thing you can get except TC and leather. Everything is power in this car, alarm, keyless, etc.
It has a few mods on it already: CF lid with K&N intake, loudmouth exhaust, short shifter, and a 160 degree thermostat.
Car pulls like crazy! I know that it's capable of high 12s with those mods, so once I get used to it a little better I will take it to the track.

:jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit: :D  that is one beautiful vehicle. i dont know about high 12s, but maybe if you can shift fast enough with the short shifter, and i believe that clutch is pretty sporty, but i dont know if it is that good. well anywayz very nice car.
sweet OP, throw some slicks on it, and a 150 shot and you got your self a contender!!!
nice find, you went from an automatic XD to a stick RD now to a big boy Z28, man you are moving up in the power world!!!
Congrats on the new car, watch the speed ;)

Owner of this car run it last November on Bald tires and got 12.9, so I think I can get close to that with new tires :)
Hopefully next spring I'll get some money to gt forged wheels from z06 and put some 315s nitto 555 on the back :) For now I'll keep it the way it is, but next spring will be a time for some mods! Hope to hit 400whp by the end of next summer all motor.
I'm a power freak, so I had to move on from the Tib to this, but still keeping my XD for daily driving!

yeah, gotta deal with that huge engine with barely any access to it, but look at it from another side, these cars been worked on more than any import and people will keep doing it, so it can't be that bad!
Interior sucks!!!! Looks almost identical to my dad's astro van..., but what can I do?

Have fun... watch out fo the cops.. the first month youll be getting a lil crazy... it will subside after that. well maybe

the back seats have to be the first things to go.... totally useless as seats... a hard shelf is lighter and more useful anyway...
have fun!

Wanna race me now? :diablo:
Very nice ride OD, with a good set of D/R's or Slicks and a driver who get get sub 2.0 60's, you can easily see 12's with that car. AND THE LOUDMOUTH SOUNDS AWESOME!!!

heh, I guess you realized that there wasnt a point to having a "fun" car that wasnt powerful, or particularly light.
a great way to fix the crappy interior is to strip it like there's no tomorrow.
and put a cam in it so that the torque peak isnt at 2,000 rpm!

^^^I'm with him! Rip all that rent-a-car plastic out and replace it with....,.Nothing! Lighter=Faster! Nice car man, now all you need is one of those obnoxious "heartbeat of America" stickers LOL

hahaha to the sticker!
I'm gonna leave this car alone for a little while, just gonna enjoy this beast the way it is.

Hope you've seen a timeslip from the previous ownew because with the mods listed I'd bet more on thirteens. I've owned four camaros 84,86,92,93 and did lots of mods to them most were 12 second capable but not without at least a cam. I've also owned lots of other chevys so. but anyway great car and have fun with it.

liscense plate comment reminds me of the car I saw in south dakota.
the liscense was "SS LS1"
had the SS hood, wide wheels, SS wing, some gay stripes, and a few more ricey stickers im sure.
then at the rear, it was definetely sporting a stock v-6 muffler and tip...ricers

Now that's funny! I've seen a few mustangs with single exhausts having a GT badge half way crooked!
I was thinking of debaging this camaro, so it would go for a v6 model and then surprise people!!!
