I wondered how many of us have owned / still own more than one Hyundai, so I thought I'd do a poll. I know some people currently have more than one.
I currently have my '02 Elantra, and my previous car that I traded in on my Elantra was a '96 Accent; both have been good cars.
Edit:
Hmmm... I noticed I may have underestimated the maximum number of Huyndais some of you may have owned...treat the 5 as 5 or more, for those of you who have owned more than five.

I currently have my Pewter 2002 Elantra GLS, and a Merlot Red 2004 Santa Fe GLS.
(If I wouldn't come out upside down in a loan, I'd be on my 3rd Hyundai with a 2006 Sonata LX).

I currently own my 01 Pewter GLS. Previous car was a 94 Excel. If it counts for anything my mom is on her second hyundai and so is my sister! Mom had a 01 Tiburon and now a Santa Fe GLS V6 Sister had a 96 Elantra and now has an 03 Elantra. And as soon as I regain gainful employment I'm getting me an 06 Sonata GLS V6.

Sold my previous Hyundai to buy this one (04GT)
Previous car was 1989 Sonata GLS - Sold it for CAN2700 because there was nothing wrong with it. Bought it from my friend in VA and there was NO rust anywhere on the car including the engine bay. Hyundai dealer was amazed at the condition of the car and it had only 55,000 miles on it. Everything still worked like new - all the bells-and-whistles.

I hope to have a second Hyundai sometime soon. It'll almost have to be AWD for the winter if we're going to replace my wife's '96 Impreza with it.

Just one my current 2002 GLS .. looking forward to more though. I'm aiming for the Azera when it comes time to replace this one.
I only know of one other person in my family/friends has ever had one... an old Excel that ran for ~200k... everyone else thinks I am wierd for buying a "junky korean car". I always tell them that with 5 years bumper to bumper that's a risk I'll will take.

I bought a 2001 Accent GSi (GT in the States), drove it for 130,000kms and traded it in on the XD. I'm back and forth on sticking with Hyundai. I'm keeping this XD until its paid off, so I have lots of time to think about it, like until 2009.

I sort-of miss my 96 Accent GT. I don't think it'd really outhandle my XD, but it felt lighter and mor nimble on windy and hilly Pennsylvania roads.
94 Excel
97 Elantra
02 Elantra(still)
03 Elantra(still)
Next will be the Hyundai Van
Also owned a 01 Kia Rio, but that thing was such a POS I wouldn't claim it.

I've never driven the older style Accents, but I can say for a certainty that my 2001 GSi makes the XD feel like a Lincoln with blown shocks. The Accent could be a bit scarier in some turns as throttle lift was always rewarded with the tail end out, which is somewhat discomforting at 80mph.
I still think I should have kept the Accent and dropped a Beta in it. It would have been a lot cheaper than trying to make the XD as fast and turn-able.

my first one was a 99 J2 elantra.

Just my 01 Elantra GLS 5 speed. (52k on it) I'm waiting another year or so to see how the next generation Elantra pans out, might also consider a new Sonata GL though.

One thing about the spy pics of the new Elantra -- I think I saw that it's got five bolt wheel hubs...
So much for anyone's aftermarket 4 bolt rims if they upgrade, unfortunately. :(

^^^ Probably moving the Elantra to be more in line with the rest of their cars. The NF Sonata is now 5 lug too, whereas the EF was 4 lug. The XG/Azera, Sonata, Santa Fe, Tucson, Tiburon, are all 5 lug. The new Accent is hard to see in pics whether or not it will be 4 or 5.
EDIT: The accent will come standard with 14" steelies, and optional 15" alloys. I'm guessing it will be Hyundai's standard alloy wheel, like the elantra employs. Which, I would might guess, would make it be a 5-lug if all Hyundai's other wheels are 5-lug. Dunno, just guessing.
