I went on a road trip yesterday, and looky what I found..

5 06 sonatas, each with walkie -talkie antennas on the back with michigan plates...

they were heading northn on us-27 just west of fort lauderdale FL.

Hmmm. I would think their road-testing would be about done, since they're in production now... but what do I know.

On a related note, there were two car-carriers in a hotel parking lot by my house last weekend. I pulled into the parking lot to look because one of them had 3 '06 Sonatas on it - couldn't get a good enough look to tell the trim levels because the wife was complaining, but I think they were plain-jane varieties.

Those plates looked like Manufacturer's plates, I bet it was a test drive of the competition by one of the big 3. Around here I see alot of the new models with those plates. Companies loan out vehicles for leases. I've got friends that take home a new car every other month, put some miles on it, and then turn it in for a new model.

My guess is that it was a car magazine taking them on a road-trip.

The first two are probably doing something important because of the radio antenna's... looks like ham radio antennas maybe...
