anyone use an electronic bottle opener. From what i understand there are more advanced openers out there that dont reduce the nitrous spray when used. when activated does the opener take long to release nitrous pressure into the lines

a bottle opener is really just a solenoid that opens when the arming switch is activated to save you the trouble of reaching back and doing it. What you are thinkinh of is a progressive controller that varies the amount of N2O that is released at a given RPM. The two work together.

no im sorry my post is confusing. im talking about the bottle opener, though a progressive controller would be nice to have as well. i read that when they where first introduced they would interrupt the nitrous when armed causing loss of performance

The solenoid type you are refering to is the NOS brand opener. Personally, I wouldn't trust a solenoid to do that. The Nitrous Express opener is bigger but actually turns the knob for you. Costs a lot more too.
The NOS solenoid is the one that installs between the feed line and the bottle.
